Frequently asked questions

The things people ask before booking.

What's the difference between the consult and the emergency session?

The free 15-minute consult is a short call for us to meet, hear a bit of what you're facing, and see if working together feels right. The 60-minute emergency session is the real work — a focused, guided conversation about your specific situation with clear next steps. You do not need the consult first; you can book the emergency session directly if you already know you want help now.

Can I come alone?

Yes. Many people attend on their own first, especially when things are still raw or their partner isn't ready. You don't need your partner's permission or presence to get help.

Is this therapy? What's your training?

This is focused emergency coaching, not long-term therapy. My work is grounded in Gottman Method training and CBT-informed techniques, applied to the specific crisis couples face after infidelity. It's practical, direct, and built to give you clarity fast — and it works alongside (not instead of) ongoing therapy if you're already in it.

How quickly can we meet? Is it confidential?

I hold space specifically for emergency sessions — in most cases we can meet within 24 hours, and live availability is shown on the booking calendar. Everything discussed in your session is completely private. Nothing is shared with anyone, ever.
